How about QVC for the Holiday Shopping?

This holiday season Vogue gave me an opportunity to look at some great things they are going to offer from Lisa Robertson's QVC Favorites. I was even selected to try one out. Which one you say? Winter Weather beware, I am prepared.

I wanted to share with you all a great opportunity I had as a BZZ agent to try this fabulous product from Burt's Bee's. I was able to try the sensitive face wash and lotion. They are both amazing. With a true no scent smell and great packaging to boot. I am glad I came across this to not just use myself but use on my littlest one as well. Case in point. she got a nasty head cold and her lips became red and raw and that tiny space below her nose is red and chapped. Like a terrible kool-aid reaction. I started to just use then when she slept because she was afraid it was going to hurt. (My fault, i used a perfumed lotion prior.) I got her to smell it and use it her self so she could be in control and see that it was all good. Now we can apply it a couple of times a day to make it all ok. The wash is great especially on those wind chapped cheeks we are experiencing here. It is cold and windy and snow is on the forecast. You can get this at just about anywhere you shop, even at the market. Also, a great price point make it so accessible to every one,  And just a dab will do ya for both of them, so they are long lasting as well.

Hungry for more deals and shopping

Being a BZZ agent allowed me to get an early look at this great site. It is like my own personal shopping web page. They look at what I spend my hard earned dollars on and then gets me the best deals based on that. Daily I get an update on what is out there and how I can get in on it.  Being a true girly girl, I love the colors and the spending habits via a shopping DNA site. Love it, Love it. I am so passionate about shopping but even more about the deals. It even reminds me with pics of what I had bought, who knew i could spend like that? Don't judge. Prada compared to Life cereal.....

She likes it, she really really likes it. You all know how she is not quite spoiled but still the type of dog where Derrick has to go and play with her knew food first to get her to eat it. He had her dance for it, he even put it in his mouth, yes people his mouth. I have it on video, but he swore me to show no one. tee hee.
 Being a BZZ agent gave me the opportunity to go to PetSmart and pick out and try the best BIL-JAC brand food I needed for Prada. I loved the packaging, you can't miss it. The fact that they have the small breed kind was amazing too. I love when they do that. We got the chicken flavor and it actually said on the bag how much for real chicken went into it. I was surprised on the apperance of it though. I had never seen a dog food look like that. It looked like rabbuit food to me, good thing we can't get confused at your house. But those of you who do, you were warned. :)
We did a two bowl test and she did go to the new food. What fun. I have a video of it. but she is nimble and eats quick so it is a bit jumbled. She really enjoyed it and I think you will too. I am glowing-Love a good sonic

Many of you know how shallow I am towards myself anyways. I will not deny it. Could it be part of my charm in a wicked way? To add to my routine Vogue Insider helped me set my face aglow with the Clarisonic sonic cleanser. What a dream. I have used it for four weeks now and yes i can say i have gone out in public with....GASP!!! no make up on. Nothing drastic. Just to the park, even the mailbox. This has cleared up so much. Any little acne mark, gone in a day. Lightened my tiny scaring as well. My fine line are diminished too. The Beauty of new Jeans

Being a member of Crowd tap and then further being awarded a special offer for myself and a bestie to go and try on jeans and keep our favorite pair was so awesome. I took bestie Sarah along for the ride. Always a loyal Old Navy lover for sure. Started our trek at the Mall of America of course for optimal shopping. Sarah is a lucky gal, she came she saw picked three pairs and fell in love. Myself, 8 pairs later I found mine. They looked awesome with everything. BOBBLE away the summer blah's

Recently as a BZZ agent I was given the opportunity to try out a BOBBLE water bottle. I received the 18oz'r.
It the company's way of helping being sustainable. With a world of convenience we are literally throwing it away. I have always been a water bottle junkie. I have a ton of them around. I love the different styles and sizes. Being a runner I need a few to keep chilled depending on the distance. Plus bring a friend along and you need a few more. I love that these last so long. These are manufactured in the USA. (YEAH!!!) These bottles are also BPA free which is a biggie lately as well. The fun thing is you can change the filter to change the color of the bottle. I have the red one currently and the carbon filter that is reusable for 300 times. So the filter is maybe no more than ten dollars depending on where you go(these are even at Target). So the money you save is mind boggling. I have spread the praises on these and i know many of you have already purchased, most of you going for the big guns and getting the 30oz'r. Good for you. So today mama is "thirsty" for more H2o

Run baby run,

Well, it has been awhile for sure. But, I am back on the wagon. The running wagon. With the miss of the marathon,sigh.....I have gotten a slower start and am feeling better already. Having a friend along this time for the ride make sit a tad more bearable. Why do I run if I detest it so much you ask? My buns thank me and so do my 7's. Having the bright pink stroller is a motivation as well, it is like a double work out. Need all we can get. I find that I am uber chatty and maybe a tad annoying for such an early run, but I like to think it is the equivalent to motivational speaking. Two half's are looming, but I am optimistic that the jogger and I will make peace this season.

Still a Brilliant Brunnette

I gave this a try after I had colored my hair for the late spring season. I need to cover a few greys I will not lie for sure. And when I shampoo and it gets a tad lost and then my color goes flat I am way bummer out.. So as a BZZ agent and was given a chance to try this out  I was way excited. It really does as it promises. The smell is great and fresh. I love the way it is clear as well. It is so great for my fine hair even. It does not weigh it down by any means. Great Purchase and I am a  believer now. You all know I am somewhat of a product whore and I adore trying out the newest products and giving out my honest opion. This is a keeper and well with in most peoples budget. I really can't get over the clean smell and the clearness of the shampoo that just seems so high quality to me. I also love that I can purchase it just about anywhere, so there is no special running around for it.

On such a day it is great to go out and shop, being a mom I love a big bag, need a big bag. Kids need lots of treats and h20 bottles and let's not forget mama's lipstick stash, here are some of my favs.

Playtex sport wipes sample share

I was able to take an opportunity to sample share the new Playtex sport wipes as being a member of Crowdtap. These could not have come at a better time with as much of you know I am in marathon training. And with training and all of the sweaty long runs and not to mention the dirt and dust on the roads and trails, I still need to run my home and take care of my family. There is not always time to grab a shower before hitting the market for that last minute item needed for school or dinner the next day."While the weather in mn has been awful and trying to train for a marathon in it has been yucky!!. So, I must say that these have helped for sure after a good training run or after a sponsored fun run used as training. Save me time? For sure. They give me the confidence to go to the market after a run. Super fresh and not to perfumey." These are well worth keeping in the glove box of the car and in the kids backpacks in case they need a quick refresh too.

Tis the season for sniffling...

And sneezing. These poor little people. Itching all year to go outside only to get out there and have the elements take them down. Not only while they are out there cruising the playground, but long after they come inside and try to function at home too. Being a Bzz agent allowed me to sample Claritin for children to see how it measured up. I will sing the praises. I received the grape flavor and it was great. It helps when they actually take it right? Non drowsy means that when they wanna play they can, we don't have to choose. The fact that it is a twelve hour lasting dose is great as well. No re dosing, or over dosing. It is so easy to do when they are so little.Dye free is also a plus for me, they don't need anything extra  and neither does my floor if we spill a tad. It is so easy to find as well. You can grab it at Target all the way to CVS. Don't let them suffer longer than they have too.

It has been so long since I have been out shopping for a good bag. A good deep big one for carrying all of my mommy gear and then some goods one's when I just need to be me.  Luckly for me being a Vogue Influencer has brought the lot to me. Today I am hungry for me time

Have you ever yearned for it? It is still a.m. and I am just needing a few moments to myself , with no kids fighting over who's going to sit where and watch what on t.v. The tones are about to drive me crazy. the t.v. is way to loud, one of my peeves for sure.I had such a crappy run last night and I still feel like blech today. The thought of running again tonight has already bogged me down. Do I drink more tea so I am peppy? Is this a hormonal thing? I just want peace and love. seriously. Just a little unrealistic Hollywood life super perfect home. Maybe I am on a downer because the UPS has not stopped yet this week to bring me a freebie I have won. I am also feeling like I work 2 full time jobs and one part time, with no real rewards. Then, this little smiling happy peanut butter face just runs up to me telling me she has to go potty and I melt, It is funny how one little moment can brighten your mood. I hunkered down and gave her a kiss and an I love you and she looks at me and says "thank you". Ok then. Maybe I am being selfish, maybe too couped up still from the winter months and need some more vitamin d. Keep you posted. Remember you are not alone.

The smell of Pledge in the air and a great and quick spring clean

Tis the season for a great spring cleaning. Being a Bzzagent allowed me to do this in style. Woohoo! I received a couple of items for free to try out and review. Even though there was still snow on the ground when I received this I could not wait to start cleaning. With these products it was so quick and still lasting. I received the scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner. It was great even on the glass. I also received the toilet gel. Love this stuff, Actually been using it for ages. Just plug and flush. It comes in clear now so it is even discreet. The lemon pledge is a household name for sure and smells so great and makes everything so shiny. Also I received the Glade plug in. I love that these fit the Airwick dispensers now too. So spring is off to a great clean smelling start. You wanna know how I qualify as such?

being almost in my mid thirty's (sigh..) going from a double income to a single income and all of the responsibilities such as budgeting for real and going to a one car household ala 50's style. (Seemed like a good idea at the time.) Who knew it would be like this? I think I work harder now staying home with two girls than I did working super full time and then coming home to the chores and other running a home responsibilities.
     I am so thankful for this opportunity, it has opened so many doors and allowed so many freedoms and with as savvy as I have become, I almost get more perks than my paycheck alone could have allowed me. The age of the computer is making this more than bearable. All of the freebies and coupons make my heart skip a beat sometimes. Being able to type this and let my littlest one "do the dishes" makes me not feel guilty about being on the computer. I have recently learned that guilt is self imposed and no one can give you this but yourself. That is what I am working on this week. It is a task. I never realized how guilty I really felt about things. Just let it go. You only judge yourself and you are who you are. Why could I have not started this process in my early 20's?  Journey is an over placed word these days, but are we not all on one?
