Do a favor and banish dry itchy skin

I had the opportunity as a BZZ agent to try Curel Intensive healing cream at no cost to me. It seems to always be my hands that take the brutal dryness. With the yard work, dishes and holiday prepping they take a harshness. Seems to always be submerged in a sink of water or doing a chore in the dry heat of the home or school. I took this on as a personal mission and I am so glad that I did. My hands look so good. No cracked cuticles and dry knuckles. My hands look like it is still July. No parchedness no, flaky drab hands. My teenage daughter is using it on her shins because they do get a tad dry with the shaving during this time of year and she has said her itching is way down already.

With this being such an easy non frou frou lotion, you can almost best you can pick it up at about anywhere you shop. It absorbs quickly too, so you don't need to plan out the next half hour of your life waiting for it to soak in. Grab a dab, rub it in and go to the next task.

Your welcome. :)

Mama's hungry to sweat it out this season....

And how better to do it than it great work out wear? That's where OLD NAVY steps in. As a Crowdtap member I was given the opportunity to take a gal pal with me to check out and score some new workout wear thanks to Old Navy. We had to say thank you. After an hour and half in the store pouring through all of the great tops, bottoms, sports bra's and jackets we were able to find some perfect fits and matches to our workout personalities.
No two people are alike indeed. Where My friend went for true jewel tones I was all about the PINK and the ORANGE. Such fun.
It was so great to try on different styles and cuts to really see what works. Old Navy really came through. It wasn't a problem to sort through the stuff that didn't work. It was a problem to go through all of the stuff that did. My room runneth over.
When it came time to really make my decisions of what was going to come home with me, I went crazy and pulled things that I did not already own. That is part of the point right?
Now with my new bright finds I am finding myself more inspired to go out and hit the pavement and the gym because I look so bright and cheery and fun. The compliments I get is well worth it too.
I love to tell everyone where I got all of my goods, because they can not believe I got such great stylish pieces at Old Navy, but also the prices were so super great too.
Kudos to you Old Navy, Kudos to you!! You will forever have my workout wear fashion foot forward.

These opinions are my own and I was no way compensated to sway my feelings. So now, go out and get your fab workout gear on too. You can't go wrong.

Mama's Hungry for more....Old Navy Tee's

Women's Graphic V-Neck Tees
Good Sunny California morning my peeps!!! As the day reaches a mere 90 some degree's today I am going through my closet looking at my new Old Navy Tee's that CrowdTap and Old Navy graciously shared with me. I was able to score these with my best friend Zara a few weeks ago.

Going into our local Old Navy on the search for our graciously gifted 2 free tee's, it was so hard to choose from. So after about 45mns of rack & table searching we were off to the fitting room for another half hour of fun modeling our finds. The bright fun colors for surely screamed summer fun. We were also seeing which ones we could dress up and dress down for a pleathera of occasions.

That is the great thing about Old Navy, so many ways to wear their clothes. I ended up getting two tee's in styles and colors I might not ordinarily pick for myself. That was part of the fun, breaking the mold and "living on the edge" of the summer fashion trends this year. To my surprise. (but not anyone else's) I am finding that I want to wear these all of the time. The rustic blue is so great with a boyfriend rolled pants and the sherbet orange is great with my khaki shorts.

There is still time to run into your closest Old Navy too. With so many styles (think vintage and classic cuts) you are sure to find the perfect fit for you and your entire family with prices that make it so easy to take home a summer's closet worth.

Hungry for more real snacking

Yep,  you heard me, I have done it. I found an awesome snack the whole family can love. No guilt factor, nothing artificial, just goodness in a bag. Being a Bzz agent gave me the opportunity to try at no cost to me a brand called Smartfood. I received the Smartfood selects care package that had the most easy and most snack-able treats. My teenager caught to it first and took them down as if she was in a race to the finish. She liked the Cinnamon Brown sugar flavor for sure (this was my favorite) hers was the Parmesan Heb flavor though. She started hiding the bag in the back of the panty in hope others would forget about it. None of us did, We all had it as a prime time television snacking ritual for about two weeks. It is on the shopping list as I type this out. It will not be forgotten.
Check it out for yourself when you go to the market, you won't be sorry you did when you look over the specs on the bag and see that each bag contains
  • No Artificial Colors, Flavors, or Preservatives; Kosher; 0 grams Trans Fat; No MSG
  • All Natural
  • Resealable Bag- huge plus, who has time to look for clips these days?
Happiest snacking!

Cheers.<img src="https://img.bzzagent.com/image/smartfood.jpg?Type=activity&Activity=9602242601&Campaign=9090448031&Uid=1077565&token=1270fe45234cd683a63fdaa309adb91a" alt=""/>

"Beauty" of the blended family

Ran out of hands
I recently was given the opportunity to go to Old Navy and find my inner beach babe and share the experience with three others that I found worthy. My worthy accomplices that day were my good friend and one of my daughters Step mom Liz, my daughter Makenzee and y stepdaughter Jordan. That's were the blended part comes in. I am fortunate enough that every aspect of our families works so well together. Being a Crowdtap member gave me a unique experience to take my family shopping and spend some good fun girlie shopping time together.
Since half of the party lives in Duluth, Mn, we headed to the Miller Hill Mall and did some minor wallet damage. The area was just getting over the major flood, so this was good to just literally get some fresh air and dry out a bit. The towels came a little late, but better at the beach than sopping up water in a flooded basement for sure.
Each of us got to pick out sunglasses, a beach towel, beach bag and a pair of flip flops. So perfect to bring down to Lake Superior once the beach comes back.
The glory of shopping with these girls is all of the giggles we had and seeing how everyone's own personality came out in their choices. As a mom, I loved seeing what my girls picked out. Their habits are always changing since they are teenagers and I can hardly keep up. I am lucky I am one of the cool moms. No, don't go and ask them, they will never fess up, but we know. :)
There was also a fun scavenger hunt that the store added. So insert more giggles and a bouncy ball prize. SCORE!!!
can't be barefoot

sun protection is a must

look at those tootsies

The fourth of July is literally around the corner, so you need to go to your closest Old Navy and score your beach gear too. Don't worry, we left some for ya!

can you spot us?

Look at those GAMS!!!

Earlier this month, I was given the opportunity to go with My teenage daughter to OLD NAVY to check out their new shorts for the season. Thanks again CROWDTAP!!! I can see why they wanted to get the word out. Each year brings upon a time to go and get some new shorts. Many of you know this is good in theory, but the follow up is not so grand. This year was seriously one stop shopping. Upon walking into the store it became a small joke that every corner we tuned there was another display of shorts. It was so awesome. It did not matter what type of mood we were in, there were white one, jean ones, Bermuda ones. Plus, ideas throughout the store on ways we could pair them to look super stylish. We also enjoyed the staff picks of summer outfits including accesories near the fitting room.
Now, because there were so many to choose from, this was not a quick trip in. We really did not pigeon hole ourselves and tried on so many styles and inseams.
It was so great to see so many. My daughter AKA "freaky, freaky, long legs" had a great amount to choose from. Me? Not so freaky long legs? I had more than enough to keep me busy in the fitting room too. By the end, and countless styles later we walked out with an amazing loot of a haul and a smile on our face with the excitement of how painless and super fun this was. It is not often that  can say I loved every pair I had on.
Growing up 80's style I can see why this summer's Old Navy campaign is "Get Stoked for Summer". In which I say, Yes, Yes you should.
Go show your Gams this season!!!
